Rich, smooth, and just the right amount of smoky. Our Oak Aged Gin really shines in this classic cocktail.
It’s simple to make, outrageously good and the perfect treat for summer evenings. Why not give it a go this weekend?
What you'll need to make a Gin Old Fashioned
A small square of orange
1½ tsp 2:1 Demerara sugar syrup
1-2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Instructions:
1. Add everything to a mixing glass filled with ice and give it a good stir to chill.
2. Strain into a lowball or rocks glass with a large ice cube.
3. Twist orange zest over the top to release those fragrant oils and garnish with the orange twist and a cherry on a cocktail stick.
4. Enjoy!
Did you know? The Old Fashioned is one of the oldest cocktails around. It got a boost in popularity in the early noughties, thanks to Mad Men's Don Draper, who was often seen with an Old Fashioned in hand.
